Sinus Problems

Sinus problems.  In the Mississippi valley many of us are all too often aware of pressure, congestion or drainage of the sinuses.  Sinus problems stem from several causes.  They can be infected by bacteria or fungus.  They can fill up with toxins being dumped by the body.  Changes in the weather affect them, as does various qualities of the air in general.  Our diet can have a lot to do with sinus problems.

There are a lot of remedies out there for sinus problems.  Some work for some people, others for other people and some just don't seem to work for very many at all.  Antibiotics have been prescribed for years, but recent research suggests they have little effect on sinusitis, and experts say that bacterial sinusitis is rare.  In the end it comes down to getting to the cause.  Diet is often the cause.  Biliary (liver and gallbladder) dysfunction are often the cause.  Sometimes the cause is due to a subluxation (misalignment) and nerve dysfunction (or imbalance) in the spine or head.

If you have sinus problems give us a call and set up an appointment.  We can suggest remedies that work and have a sinus treatment (adjustments, trigger points, reflexology and massage techniques) to help alleviate some of the common causes of susceptibility to sinus conditions.  If you have biliary induced sinus problems we can usually treat the biliary or gallbladder problem naturally without surgery.
