Spinal Problems

Spinal problems are common and sometimes painful.  Neck and back pains affect the majority of Americans at some point in their life.  Bulging or hernited discs, sprains and strains, and nerve problems all have one thing in common.  They all respond favorably to chiropractic adjustments in a majority of cases.  Spinal manipulation done by chiropractors is very safe, even for very painful conditions.  There are a lot of methods that chiropractors have developed for adjusting the spine and pelvis.  We use a lot of Gonstead technique, Thompson drop table, and Impulse instrument adjusting among others.
We believe it is important not to neglect the soft tissues such as the muscles and connective tissues, so we do a lot of myofascial release techniques and rehabiliation procedures.

The vertebral distraction pump
An instrument used to gently traction and stretch tight joints and to create negative pressure in bulging discs to suction them back in.

Impulse Adjusting instrument
Used to gently and repetativly tap locked vertebra back into motion and to relax tight muscles.
